Day 01 – World Heritage Sites of Delhi

Qutub Minar complex – The Qutub Minar, also spelled as Qutab Minar, or Qutb Minar, is the tallest minaret in the world made up of bricks.

Humayun’s Tomb – It was the first garden-tomb as well as the very first grand example of Mughal Architecture on the Indian subcontinent. It was also the first structure to use Red sandstone at such a scale.

The Red Fort complex – Red Fort is a historic fort in the city of Delhi in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty for more than 200 years, from 1638 till 1858.

Drive past and photostop at the Imperial Delhi (India Gate and President House) – The foundation stone of Delhi was laid by George 5th Emperor of India during the Delhi Durbar of 1911. It was designed by British architects, Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 – World-renowned Temples of Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet our representative come chauffeur at the airport & later go for sightseeing tour of Temples in Delhi. Your first stop will be Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple. Throughout the day you’ll be immersed in traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture.

Akshardham Temple, the center of the complex is 141 feet high and covered top to bottom with intricate carvings of flora, fauna, dancers, musicians, and deities. The temple, which attracts approximately 70 percent of all tourists who visit Delhi, was officially opened in 2005 and has been verified by Guinness World Records as the largest comprehensive Hindu temple complex in the world.

Lotus Temple, a Baha’i house of worship was completed in 1986. It serves as the mother temple for the Baha’i faith of Indian subcontinent and has become a prominent attraction in Delhi. Have a lunch break.

Later visit Laxminarayan Temple, a Hindu temple that is dedicated to Vishnu with his consort Lakshmi. The temple was completed in 1939 & was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi -is spread over 7.5 acres, this temple complex features many shrines, fountains and a beautiful, well maintained garden.
